This week we learned about resistance.
What is resistance? Tactics and means to oppose the strategies of the prince
For example while the prince tries to divide and conquer the resistance tries to overcome the imposed isolation.
Examples of resistance are
virus
trojan horse
worm
bomb
back door.
What is a software virus?
virus is a cracker program that searches out other programs and 'infect' them by embedding a copy of itself in them. trojan horse is one of the these viruses.
What is a software trojan horse?
A Trojan horse is a computer virus which is inserted into a program or system and is designed to take effect after a particular period of time or a certain number of operations. A program designed to break security or damage a system that is disguised as so mething else benign such as a directory lister, archiver.
What is worm? A program that propagates itself over a network reproducing itself as it goes.
What is a software bomb?
Code surreptitiously inserted in an application or OS that causes it to perform some destructive or security-compromising activity whenever specified conditions are met.
What is a back door? A hole in the security of a system deliberately left in place by designers or maintainers.the literal meaning of a word, open-source is a open the source-code. open the souce-code, everybody can reform a software.
examples of open-source software : Linux, internet and etc....
the programs, constantly develop, improvement, they will become easy to use.
