This week we learned about WWW.
what is the mean WWW? WWW is an abbreviation for `World Wide Web'.
It appears at the beginning of website addresses in the form www .
WWW would allow collaborators in remote sites to share their ideas and all aspects of a common project. First, I don't know about WWW importances.
But thinking about WWW, It is a important. because it give us convenient.
If WWW is not, we feel difficult.
For example, we search the internet what kind of word or some question.
It would be take too long times. because internet search is widly so go round a data.
but WWW not go round a data.

This week key point is 'people make media and then media make people'.
dr.yoon give an example aobut people name. dr.yoon asked a student "what is your name"?
student answer the question "My name is XXX". dr.yoon said all the student "He's name XXX. can you imagination he's look like?" I think this question mean people make media and then media make people. so I understand key point.



This week was fun and interesting me. because I understand dr.yoon said(a litte) and this lecture make me have a thinking which is take lightly about small trifle.
I'm very happy. because I learn about fresh news and constantly thinking me.
next week more interesting lecture offer students. and give me fun. Thank you dr.yoon

This week we discussed the Englebart. I think he is the very genius.
Because He invented the many invention. (we using frequently ; such as a mouse, a keyboard a, a monitor and so on.)
He's motivation is that ; Man's population and gross product are increasing at a considerable rate, but the complexity of his problems grows still fater, and the urgency with which solutions must be found becomes steadily greater in response to the increased rate of activity and the increasingly global nature of that activity.
He always said that augmenting human intellect.
That is' better and faster comprehension + better and faster and more solutions to problems'.
so he's challenged new inventions and he was successful.


I talk about today's focus hypertext. hypertext that is a way of connecting pieces of text so that we can go quickly and directly from one to another. (internet search mean)
Dr.Yoon said that hypertext is one way that digital media has been understood as a new forms of writting, reading and thinking. Frankly, i don't understand.(Why a new forms of writting, reading and thinking) But It was made to think many.

This week lecture gives a many lesson in me.
Englebart is the very genius. But i think anyone person become genius.
So many people wnat more convenient social. But no one put an idea into practice.
However he tryed. and he invented the many invention.
I think the challenge most is important.
I hope become a challnger man. Even if end in failure but try again again.

This week I read the two books. One is the Sandy Stone's “Welcome to the present” and the other is Vannevar Bush’s “As we may think.” and we discussion.
First class Dr.Yoon said digital media technologies connect or separate people, they become media. First I don't understand that mean. but have a think about that mean.
I understand that mean(a little)
I think, there is a possibility all things becoming the media.
that's a matter of opinion. For example is a car a medium? I think maybe yes. Because when digital media technologies connect or separate people, they become media.
Car is middle in connecr or separate. so car is media. The compyter also with the car it is similar. So the computer also it is a media.

Second class we discussion Vannevar Bush’s “As we may think.”
Vannevar Bush's is MIT professor. He invention of differential analyzer.
The experience of the human being it is extending absurdly, uses this and accommodates well the means for on elementary level is only. So Vannavear Bush' made analyzer.
Later Memex came to make. Memex was born with effect of his invention.
Memexsms individuals record all books and are understood and it is a system which they store,
To provide a bias to the people.
Dr.Yoon asked many question but remaining most in memory is "What is creative thought?"
Right answer it is not but I think it appears the fact that others do not attempt.(Anyone it does not think until now the nail doing)


this summary very difficult because I'm english skill very lower. But English skill improvement . So I will make easy. Thank you Dr.Yoon because It is not tedious not to make be it does as a favor the talk which is fun at study time.
The English class being difficult plentifully, but it will make a study preparation eagerly.
